The project includes women coffee growers who work in the Volcanic Region, one of the most promising areas for the production of specialty coffees in Brazil. The goal is to gradually expand this initiative to other regions, enabling more women producers to develop exclusive microlots and bring to the market unique coffees, created with dedication and innovation.

Women participating in the Matura Project have access to exclusive resources and technical support, including:
Yeasts provided by Bourbon, specially selected for the fermentation process;
Personalized consulting with a Bourbon fermentation specialist;
Continuous technical monitoring, as needed, to ensure the quality of the coffee produced.
In exchange, the coffee growers deliver the fermented coffee to Bourbon, receiving the market value of the day, plus a premium per bag, as a form of recognition for their work and the quality of the product.
